    Here is the full translation of hanuman chalisha from Sanskrit to English. The first line is Sanskrit verse, second line is English verse and the third line is its English translation.  

    Doha (Introductory Verse):

    श्री गुरु चरण सरोज रज, निज मनु मुकुरु सुधारि।

    Shri Guru Charan Saroj Raj, Nij Man Mukar Sudhari,

    I clean the mirror of my mind with the dust from the lotus feet of my Guru.

    बरनौं रघुबर बिमल जसु, जो दायकु फल चारि।।

    Barnau Raghubar Bimal Jasu, Jo Dayaku Phal Chari

    I describe the pure glory of Sri Ram, who bestows the four fruits of life.

    बुद्धिहीन तनु जानिके, सुमिरौं पवन कुमार।

    Buddhiheen Tanu Janike, Sumirau Pavan Kumar

    I recognize myself as ignorant, and I remember Hanuman, the son of the wind god.

    बल बुद्धि विद्या देहु मोहिं, हरहु कलेस बिकार।।

    Bal Buddhi Vidya Dehu Mohin, Harahu Kalesh Vikar

    Grant me strength, wisdom, and knowledge, and remove all my sorrows and afflictions.

    The messenger of Lord Rama, possessing unparalleled strength.

    अंजनि-पुत्र पवनसुत नामा।।

    Anjani Putra Pavansut Nama

    The son of Anjana and the wind god, known as Pavansut (son of the wind).

    महाबीर बिक्रम बजरंगी।

    Mahaveer Vikram Bajrangi

    The great hero Bajrangi, with immense valor.

    कुमति निवार सुमति के संगी।

    Kumati Nivar Sumati Ke Sangi

    The remover of wicked thoughts, the companion of virtuous intellect.

    कञ्चन बरन बिराज सुबेसा।

    Kanchan Baran Biraaj Subesa

    His complexion is as radiant as gold, and he is adorned with beautiful garments.

    कानन कुण्डल कुञ्चित केसा।

    Kaanan Kundal Kunchit Kesha

    He wears earrings and has curly hair.

    हाथ बज्र और ध्वजा बिराजै।

    Haath Bajra Aur Dhvaja Viraje

    In his hands are the thunderbolt and the flag.

    काँधे मूँज जनेऊ साजै।।

    Kandhe Moonj Janeyu Saaje

    On his shoulder rests the sacred thread made of munja grass.

    शंकर सुवन केसरी नंदन।

    Sankar Suvan Kesari Nandan

    He is as powerful and radiant as Lord Shiva himself, the son of Kesari.

    तेज प्रताप महा जग वंदन।।

    Tej Pratap Maha Jag Vandan

    He is worshipped by the entire universe for his splendorous radiance.

    विद्यावान गुनी अति चातुर।

    Vidyavaan Guni Ati Chatur

    He is knowledgeable, virtuous, and extremely intelligent.

    राम काज करिवेको आतुर।

    Ram Kaj Karibe Ko Aatur

    He is always eager to serve Lord Rama.

    प्रभु चरित्र सुनिबेको रसिया।

    Prabhu Charitra Sunibe Ko Rasiya

    He delights in listening to the glories of Lord Rama.

    रामलखन सीता मन बसिया।

    Ram Lakhan Sita Man Basiya

    Lord Rama, Lakshmana, and Sita reside in his heart.

    सुखश्री भय दिनु दायालू।

    Sukhshree Bhay Dinu Dayalu

    He bestows happiness and removes fear.

    रघुपति कीन्ही बहुत बड़ाई।

    Raghupati Keenhi Bahut Badaai

    He praised Lord Rama with great reverence.

    तुम मम प्रिय भरतहि सम भाई।।

    Tum Mam Priya Bharatahi Sam Bhaai

    You are as dear to me as Lord Rama’s brother Bharata.

    सहस बदन तुम्हरो जस गावैं।

    Sahas Badan Tumharo Jas Gaave

    The thousands of celestial beings sing praises of your glory.

    अस कहि श्रीपति कंठ लगावैं।।

    Asa Kahi Shripati Kanth Lagaave

    Saying this, Lord Rama embraced you.

    संकट कटै मिटै सब पीरा।

    Sankat Kate Mitai Sab Peera

    All sorrows and afflictions are removed by remembering you.

    जो सुमिरै हनुमत बलवीरा।।

    Whoever reads Hanuman Chalisa.

    होय सिद्धि साखी गौरीसा।।

    Hoy Siddhi Saakhi Gaurisa

    Gauri’s Lord will grant them success.
